Nrityabharati, Academy for Bharatanatyam & Carnatic Music, is a premier organization in Delhi, which has steadily made its name in Delhi for the past thirty years. Established in 1987 by Guru Smt Kanaka Sudhakar, this Academy has taught Bharatanatyam to more than a thousand students. Guru Kanaka Sudhakar, through Nrityabharti, teaches Bharatanatyam as a Women empowerment program where students are taught to be performers, teachers, choreographers are make a decent lively hood with the art form. Along with Bharatanatyam, Carnatic music training is compulsory in the school. Dance graduates are given internship within the academy.
